Online Self-Paced Training: Revit MEP Fundamentals
This fundamentals course introduces users to Building Information Modeling (BIM) workflows and essential tools tailored specifically for the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) disciplines within Autodesk Revit. Users will learn to navigate the interface, set up projects using linked architectural models, and establish spatial parameters such as levels, grids, and spaces. The guide walks through designing, routing, and analyzing complete electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems, as well as applying custom graphics, overrides, and system settings. Finally, it covers producing a complete set of construction documents by creating sheets, adding detail annotations, working with tags and schedules, and generating pressure loss reports for full project delivery.

- You will receive another email with instructions and a link to download the Autodesk software. We will assign you the Autodesk license to use the software that is good for 3 months. This will be for your hands on exercises.
- The course is broken into 7 modules (NAVFUN 101 – NAVFUN 107). Each has its own lessons, activities, and quizzes.
- You have 3 months to complete the course. If 3 months have passed and you still need more time, contact us for an extension at $100/mo.
- Receive a minimum of 70% at the end of the course and you will receive a Certificate of Completion.

Prerequisites & System Compatibility
- Operating System: This content is strictly designed for the AutoCAD 2026 software running on a Windows operating system. It is not designed for, and does not apply to, AutoCAD for Mac or Google Chromebook.
- A working knowledge of your operating system.
- A basic understanding of 3D design software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, or Civil 3D) and general construction workflows.
- This learning path introduces the fundamental skills you need to learn the Autodesk Revit MEP software. It is highly recommended that users have experience and knowledge in MEP engineering and its terminology.
