How Live Instructor-Led CAD Training Works
Whether you attend in person or virtually, our instructor-led CAD training follows a simple, structured process from registration to certification.
1. Register for Your Course
Reserve your seat in an upcoming class, and select whether you’ll be attending in person or virtually when you register.
2. Attend In-Person or Virtually
Join the same live class either in-person at our Houston office or virtually from anywhere. Both options run for two weeks, Monday through Thursday.
3. Learn With Real-Time Support
Work through hands-on exercises with an experienced, certified instructor available to answer questions and guide you as you go, regardless of which format you choose.
4. Earn Your Certificate
Complete the course and receive an official Certificate of Completion from our Authorized CADWorx Training Center.
Prerequisites
- A working knowledge of Windows and general navigation of a computer.
- A pre-requisite of AutoCAD Fundamentals and More either at this school or another and must show Proof of Completion.
- A working knowledge of basic design or drafting procedures and terminology is a plus.

Do I have to attend in person to take the CADWorx Plant Design course?
No. CADWorx Plant Design is available both in our Houston, Texas classroom and through live remote instruction, so you can join from wherever works best for you.
How does attending the class virtually/remotely work?
We will send you an invite link to virtually attend the class via a ZOOM or TEAMS style meeting. You’ll also be emailed the course material, a way to remote into the training computer during the live session, and a recommended remote setup.
Is the remote version the same course as the in-person?
Yes. Remote students attend the exact same live sessions, taught by the same instructors, on the same schedule as students in the classroom.
Will I still get support if I attend remotely?
Yes. Instructors are available to answer questions and walk through exercises in real time, whether you’re sitting in the classroom or connecting remotely.
Do I get the same certificate whether I attend in-person or remotely?
Yes. Every student who completes the course, in-person or remote, earns a Certificate of Completion from our Authorized CADWorx Training Center.
