REMOTE TRAINING
Online CAD Training
Spectrum Solutions offers in-person CAD training for professionals who want a more hands-on, practical learning experience. Students who are unable to attend the physical training in Houston can participate in the class remotely.
This is achieved through a combination of technology:
- Remote computer access – students are given access to a computer located in the physical classroom. This computer is equipped with the necessary cad software.
- Video Conferencing – Students join a video conference call, enabling them to see and interact with the instructor and other students in the physical classroom.
In essence, virtual students have a remote controlled experience of the physical classroom so they can interact with the instructor and other students in real time.
How to set up for Remote Computer Access
Required Equipment

- A good, high-speed internet connection.
- Have your Firewalls disabled for install of applications
- A mouse that has a scroll wheel

- Multiple Monitor set-up (At least two monitors). This will make following the class very helpful because you will have multiple windows open:
- A window where you can view the APP used to remote into the classroom computer
- A window where you can view the Video Meeting
- A window where you can view the training manual, course material, exercises, etc.
